Accessibility Statement
We want every cook to be able to use this site — with a screen reader, a keyboard, a small screen or a slow connection.
Our commitment
Redbit S.r.l.s. aims for recipeup.fit to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, and to the requirements of the European Accessibility Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act as they apply to websites.
What we have done
- Semantic HTML with a logical heading structure, landmarks and a skip link
- Full keyboard operability with visible focus indicators
- Text contrast of at least 4.5:1; no information conveyed by color alone
- Text alternatives on every image; captions on AI-generated photos
- Responsive layout that reflows to 320 px without horizontal scrolling; content readable at 200 % zoom
- No autoplaying media, no flashing content; animations respect
prefers-reduced-motion - Recipe ingredients and steps that work with screen readers and with the browser's reader mode; a print stylesheet
Known limitations
Some third-party components (for example, the future consent platform) may not be fully under our control. We test with recent versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge and with VoiceOver and NVDA; older browsers may render less well.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier, email info@recipeup.fit with the page address and a description of the problem. We aim to respond within 5 business days and to fix genuine barriers quickly.
